2025 Basic Salary Increasing to NTD28,590 and Hourly Rate NTD190
Effective from January 1, 2025, the basic salary will increase to NTD 28,590, and an hourly rate at NTD 190. This adjustment represents a 4.08% increase.
Over the past eight years, the basic salary has risen from NTD 20,008, marking an overall increase of 37.3%. The adjustment for 2025 will be the ninth consecutive year of salary increases.
Increment this time also be the first increasing after implement of Minimum Wage Act from January 01,2024. The Act considers indicators such as the price index and has established a research group mechanism to oversee minimum wage adjustments.
The government’s aim with this salary increase is to ensure both employers and employees can work and live financially stable and with peace of mind.
