At the Investment Promotion Conference of Hai Phong City in China in 2024, held on August 7 in the Shenzhen City (China), Hai Phong City leadership delegation, led by Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation, has conducted many investment promotion activities with Chinese businesses.

Foreign direct investment inflows to Vietnam reached US$18 billion in the first seven months of 2024, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.9 percent, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Foreign Trade Agency.
