Prime Minister Issues Telegram, Requests to Abolish 30% of Business Conditions
On March 9, 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued Dispatch No. 22/CĐ-TTg, urging ministries, agencies, and local authorities to focus on key measures to reduce administrative procedures, improve the business environment, and promote socio-economic development. The main tasks include:
- Administrative Procedure Reform: Review and reduce at least 30% of the time and cost for processing administrative procedures and implement electronic procedures for businesses.
- Addressing Business Difficulties: Agencies need to urgently resolve business-related issues, especially those listed in the March 2025 reports.
- Promoting Science, Technology, and Digital Transformation: Ministries and agencies must strongly implement programs for developing science, technology, and digital transformation to create growth drivers for the economy.
- Improving Visa Policies: Upgrade the electronic visa system and grant visa exemptions for specific important groups.
- Supporting Businesses through Tax and Credit Policies: Continue to extend tax deadlines, reduce taxes, and manage credit policies to lower interest rates and encourage investment.
- Developing Social Housing: Review policies for social housing development, especially for workers and employees.
- Supervising Implementation: Deputy Prime Ministers will oversee the implementation of these tasks within their assigned fields.
