AED 11B in Industrial Projects Conclude UAE’s 2025

Abu Dhabi, 22 May 2025 – The fourth edition of Make it in the Emirates, the UAE’s flagship industrial forum, concluded at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre after a four-day run, marking its most successful edition to date. Themed “Advanced Industries. Accelerated,” the event was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), with key partners including ADNOC and the Ministry of Culture.

Drawing more than 122,000 visitors — a twentyfold increase from last year — the exhibition showcased breakthroughs across 12 strategic sectors including clean energy, aerospace, AI, and traditional crafts. Over 187 agreements and AED 11 billion in new industrial projects were announced, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global industrial hub.

Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, praised the leadership’s vision in transforming the UAE’s industrial landscape, emphasizing the role of manufacturing in economic diversification, technological innovation, and sustainable development. He highlighted the growing investor confidence and the importance of AI and Industry 4.0 in shaping the future.

Significant outcomes included AED 7.8 billion in offtake agreements, AED 40 billion in industrial financing pledges, and the launch of the AED 1 billion Emirates Growth Fund. The event also saw increased momentum for the National In-Country Value (ICV) Program, with procurement rising to AED 168 billion and over 22,000 Emiratis employed in the sector by end-2024.

Youth engagement was a major focus, with 3,000 young Emiratis participating in the Industrialists Career Fair and over 1,200 job offers extended. A new Emirati Handicrafts Pavilion and the “Made in the Arab World – UAE Edition” initiative also spotlighted cultural entrepreneurship.

The fifth edition is confirmed for May 4–7, 2026, as 80% of companies expressed intent to return. The event continues to elevate the UAE’s industrial profile, drawing widespread media coverage and achieving satisfaction scores far above global benchmarks.
