🌕 Hong Kong | Toll-Free Policy for Smaller Vehicles on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge During Lunar New Year Holidays
Enjoy toll-free travel on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge for small passenger vehicles from February 9th to 17th, 2024, during the Lunar New Year Holiday. Also, approved Hong Kong cars can apply online for the Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles scheme, effective July 1, 2023, for travel between Hong Kong and Guangdong.

Estate duty is a tax on the total market value of a person’s assets at the time of death, encompassing everything owned in their name, jointly owned assets, gifts within five years of death, gifts with retained benefits, and assets held in trust providing personal benefits, with exemptions often applied.
📜 Taiwan | Foreigners Exempted from Applying for a Work Permit in Taiwan
Certain foreigners, including consultants, researchers, spouses of Republic of China citizens, and individuals engaged in specified activities or holding Academic and Business Travel Cards, are exempt from applying for work permits, while Working Holiday Visas and certain short-term engagements are considered entry visas deemed work permits.

KP Aero Industries secures an Investment Registration Certificate for its 20 million USD KP Vina Aviation Components Factory in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, focusing on Boeing aircraft parts. The project aims to enhance Da Nang’s position in the global aviation industry, with construction set to commence in February 2024 and operations starting by the end of 2024. In 2023, the park attracted 19 new projects, bringing the total investment to 3,413 million USD across 526 projects.
