LegCo to Consider Stamp Duty (Amendment) Bill 2024

On Wednesday, April 10, at 11 a.m., the Legislative Council (LegCo) will meet in the LegCo Complex Chamber. The Stamp Duty (Amendment) Bill 2024 Second Reading debate will continue during the meeting. The Bill will be submitted to the committee of the entire Council if it is approved by the members and is given a second reading. The Bill will be scheduled for Third Reading after the Committee of the Whole Council has finished debating it and the Council has approved its report.
There will also be a continuation of the Waterworks (Amendment) Bill 2023 Second Reading debate. The Bill will be submitted to the committee of the entire Council if it is approved by the members and is given a second reading. The Bill will be scheduled for Third Reading after the Committee of the Whole Council has finished debating it and the Council has approved its report.
In the meantime, the Dentists Registration (Amendment) Bill 2024 and the Inland Revenue (Amendment) (Tax Concessions for Intellectual Property Income) Bill 2024 will be submitted into the Council for First and Second Readings. The discussion of the Bills’ Second Reading will end.
