Pandora Built a Factory in Vietnam
Pandora – the world’s largest jewelry brand by sales volume, built a 150 million USD factory in Binh Duong, operating from 2026.
Located in Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park 3 (VSIP III), the factory has an area of more than 50,000 m2, on a campus of about 7.5 hectares. This is the company’s fourth jewelry manufacturing facility in the world and the first outside of Thailand.
The factory is expected to create jobs for about 7,000 craftsmen and produce 60 million pieces of jewelry each year, increasing the company’s production capacity by about 50%. They plan to start recruiting from the first half of next year and operate from 2026.
Mr. Alexander Lacik, CEO and Chairman of Pandora, said that choosing Vietnam to build the fourth factory was based on extensive global research, after considering 27 countries. The factory in Binh Duong is operated by 100% renewable energy and built according to LEED Gold standards – the leading green building certification. The facility uses advanced manufacturing technology and is optimized with digital solutions. In addition, 100% of the raw materials for the factory in Vietnam are recycled silver and gold, taken from global sources that comply with the UK’s RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) certification.
At VSIP III, the Pandora factory is located next to the billion-dollar factory of “compatriot” Lego, which is also a green factory. “Vietnam has become an increasingly important market for Danish investors thanks to its favorable business environment and commitment to net zero emissions by 2050”, Mr. Jacob Jensen, Minister of Danish Food, Agriculture and Fisheries review.
Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Pandora employs 33,000 people worldwide and produces jewelry at three factories in Thailand, primarily using recycled silver and gold. In 2023, the company sold 107 million pieces of jewelry in more than 100 countries through 6,700 points of sale, bringing in total revenue of 3.8 billion euros.
