UAE Named the World’s Most Economically Stable Country
The United Arab Emirates has been officially recognized as the most economically stable country in the world, according to the latest US News & World Report rankings. The UAE topped a list of 89 nations, solidifying its position as a global leader in economic resilience and investor confidence.
🇦🇪 Why the UAE Leads the World
The nation’s top ranking is attributed to:
- Low manufacturing costs
- Favorable tax environment
- Minimal bureaucracy
- Absence of corruption
- Government transparency
These factors have allowed the UAE to surpass long-time economic giants, making it a hub for global business and investments.
In celebration, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, shared:
“The UAE ranks first in the world for economic stability, according to U.S. News. This top classification is based on our sustained commitment to maintaining low manufacturing costs, creating a favorable tax environment, reducing bureaucracy, ensuring no corruption, and upholding transparency in government practices.”
🌐 Who’s Next on the List?
Trailing the UAE are other strong economies, including Germany, Canada, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia — all of which have made significant progress across various economic metrics.
📊 About the Rankings
These findings are part of the US News Best Countries report, now in its ninth year. The rankings were developed in partnership with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and WPP, based on surveys of nearly 17,000 respondents worldwide — from policymakers to business leaders and the general public.
Countries were measured across 10 key subrankings, such as Open for Business, Quality of Life, and Adventure. The UAE’s leading score in economic stability falls under the Open for Business category, which considers taxation, transparency, and overall business environment.
✨ What This Means for the UAE
The achievement highlights not only the country’s strong economic performance but also its global perception as a safe, transparent, and business-friendly destination. With these strengths, the UAE continues to attract global investors, entrepreneurs, and talent — further cementing its place on the world stage.
